Did you know?
With DAC you only pay at the end, once your documents have been completely authenticated and legalized.
No Extra Fees
With other services, you rarely end up paying the advertised price for certifying your documents. What you don’t see are the sneaky fees that increase costs. Not with D.A.C, other than tax, what you see is what you pay.
Rest assured that we have some of the most competitive prices in the market.
Common Questions about Authentication and Legalization
1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept any credit or debit card, Paypal, e-transfer, direct bank deposit, certified check, Canadian money order, or international wire transfer.
We will process your payment after the documents have been authenticated and legalized.
2. What are your fees for certified translations?
Price for a certified document translation starts at C$0.15 – C$0.19 per word and depends on the language, volume, the urgency of your request, etc. Fill out this form or call us at 1-855-700-5840 for an accurate quote. If you also need to authenticate and legalize your documents, see our Pricing Page for additional information.
3. How much do you charge for notarizations?
In some cases, your documents may need to be notarized before Global Affairs can authenticate them. A notary public or attorney examines the documents and then signs and seals them. If you want us to take care of this process for you, we charge a fee of $49 per document.
4. Are there any setup costs or hidden fees?
No, with DAC, the price you see is what you pay. Unlike other companies that advertise a specific price and end up charging additional, hidden fees, we take pride in not only having great prices, but also in being completely transparent and right upfront on what our customers will pay once their documents have been processed.
5. Do you charge to send a digital scanned copy of the Authentication & Legalization stamps?
No, many companies in Canada charge an additional fee to simply send a digital scanned copy of the authenticated documents via email to their clients. We don’t. We strive to keep our customers updated throughout the whole process and believe that if our customers need a digital scanned copy of their documents, then they should receive it at no extra cost.
6. How much will the embassy charge for legalizing the documents?
Legalization fees vary from embassy to embassy. Each embassy or consulate sets its own rates. For an accurate quote, please call us at 1-855-700-5840 or fill out this form and we will get back to you within one hour.
